The English Countryside

Having spent the past week up in Birmingham preparing to start back at work it made me think and realise that you can miss the beauty of your own country, especially when daily life takes over and the daily grind of work strikes. I know there is no way many would class Birmingham as beautiful but drive 30 minutes outside and you can be in the most beautiful rolling English countryside. I was staying with friends for the week and we decided to go out for a walk one evening. When the sun is out and the weather is warm I don’t think many places beat England. Having travelled for so long and been away it was nice to see everything with fresh eyes and realise how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful country. I hope you like the pictures:
